Good Morning; 74 & heating up. I'm going to practice at the range for a while before it gets too hot outside.

Good mid morning. Bit of excitement last night. A vicious T storm rolled through here, it came across the lake like a freight train, snapped a maple on my front lawn down by the water, dragged my neighbours pontoon boat ashore and shook the house. Thought we were leaving Kansas Dorethy! No other damage really but we have been without power for 16 hrs and counting. I am hearing there are trees down and uprooted in a number of places close by.

Good morning, got the power back last night, 25 hrs after the storm. Not bad really, considering the damage to the power lines. I got away easy, but about 2-4 miles from here it is like a mini war zone, trees uprooted and flattened in a wide swath taking power lines and poles with it. Hats off to Hydro Quebec for getting us up and running so quickly.

Good morning 26 and sunny. Finally home from sea this week. May have been home 3 weeks since Jan. 1. Day surgery this morning so I should be home for a couple of weeks.lol. Norm we had a freak storm in August a few years ago. I couldn't believe I had to run the generator that time of year. Glad to see no damage to your house.

to go any where today. Have a great day!

Wow Dave, are you the only fisheries employee or something? Hope you get a good rest and the surgery goes ok. Up in this part of the country the power goes out often enough that most people have a generator, but that is usually an hour or 2 affair. Luckily we mostly go a few years between storms that do so much damage.
