HI FROM ANOTHER NEWBIE!
THOUGHT IT WAS ABOUT TIME THE SOUTH CENTRAL OHIO CONTINGENT CHECKS IN. Even though it's "Southern" Ohio we're ankle deep in the white stuff and impatiently waiting for anything decent to ride in. I'm the proud owner of an '06 Black (the fastest color) Nomad. In the meantime I'm content to do a few mods and lust over the riding conditions that you true southern guys enjoy. I have really enjoyed reading this forum. Thanks Trip for all of this!

HI FROM ANOTHER NEWBIE!
Welcome Buckeye,
I'm new here myself but there are a bunch of " Old timers" that have a lot of Nomad Knowledge. I'm located a bit south of you, ( Tennessee) but no weather to get excited about. High today was 22 with a 20 mph wind blowing, thankfully no snow. Weather due to improve Monday is predicted to be in the 60's so a ride is in order. Again, welcome to the forum Shep |

HI FROM ANOTHER NEWBIE!
Welcome, Buckeye, from Northern Virginia. I've only been around for a few months but like Shep said, there is a lot of Nomad knowledge. If you use the "search" feature, be sure to reset the default search period of 7 days to something like 200 or more to pick up past discussions. You'll like it here.

HI FROM ANOTHER NEWBIE!
Buckeye,
Welcome to what is probably the fast growing, and is the best, Nomad site. I used to use the handle Hawkeye so you know where I'm from. Now I hang out along the Front Range of Colorado where the winter riding is usually pretty good but this and last year have had us snow bound for longer than I'd like. Might get a chance to get out into 50+ degree weather by the weekend. Things dry out real quick around here once it warms a little. Loose sand becomes a main concern. |
