Fork oil change

A few weeks ago there was a discussion of making it easier to change the fork oil by drilling a hole in the bottom area of the oil cavity for installation of a removeable plug, similar to what a lot of bikes used to have. Someone suggested that it would be best to test this on a spare lower fork tube. I saw one on Ebay this morning that might fit the bill for those with the wish to try this.
