Taking sound advice (Ride like a pro)

I just downloaded this from some torrent website. Ride Like A Pro 5, most of what is on the video can be found in segments on YouTube. Having seen the video in it's entirerty I am glad I didn't pay money for it. Although there are some good tips or reminders about riding, it just comes down to practice.

Yeah... I don't know if I would be posting that publicly either leadbelly.

Hey Deacon. Glad to hear you are going to want to look into this. I am unable to make an archival-copy of mine for some reason -- otherwise you could have it. (FYI -- One archival copy is allowed under copyright laws.)

I am not in agreement that you'll find all that is contained in the their videos on Youtube; however there are some things available and it may be worth some of your time looking for them on Youtube.

The most critical function you'll want to learn first is how to use your rear-brake, with the clutch just out to the friction-point... while keeping the throttle just above idle-speed. When you get proficient at this, you'll find that this sets the bike-up in a rigid posture enabling you to make slow critical-speed maneuvers.

The second step to learn is to properly place your focal-point out to where you want to "end-up". (Far too many riders look too close to the area directly in front of their bike when making maneuvers. If you look too close in front of the bike, or directly at what you don't want to hit -- well then... you'll either tip-over or hit what you are looking at.)

If you can swing the money for an advanced riders course; you won't regret it either.

Anyway... good luck. :)

Thanks guy's :) I've got one on the way ;) I know I need to practice, but I want to be sure I'm practicing properly. During my coaching days I always drilled home practicing is only beneficial if one practices good technique ;) Not much left of the riding season here, but I'm going to try to get some practice in the parking lot before I retire the bike for the winter
