Headlight Bracket for LED Lights

We have developed a mounting bracket to fit an aftermarket LED light into most of the 1500 and 1600 Vulcans! This is our first venture outside of the 1700 models. There have been other attempts to make this possible but up to now every bracket or light required modification to fit. Ours is direct bolt-in and requires no modifications! Install is about 20-30 minutes.

Thanks guys, let me know if you have any questions.

Nice looking bracket. I may order one.
Price a bit steep but looks well engineered. I tried to make one
But didn’t have the tools.

They are admittedly pricey. However, this is the price (forgive my pun) when working with low volume and short run manufacturing. These have a lot of manual labor involved.

With sales and volume we can justify investing into jigs and fixtures to help reduce the per-item cost and eventually bring the price down. There were months of engineering, R&D and testing involved before we even went to manufacturing.

They are very well made, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Randy, for including 1600 and 1500s.
Glad to see you expand the line. I love my 1700 Head light bracket.

Anyone here that maybe hesitant, on some guy posting parts ( OhioVoyager). I can confirm these parts are Legit. And so is the quality and service. Check out his website.

Before you buy a LED headlamp you may want to check out this vid.

Thanks for the info. Good to hear the quality is good. I did buy both the headlight and aux light adapters for my Vaq. I like to look of the LED aux light he links to on his web site but am not sure which headlight to get. Which one did you end up with and did you do the aux lights too?

I was thinking about this headlight but am not sure if this headlight and ring are all I need. Is the mounting ring that comes with the headlight all I need plus the adapter to mount it to the Vaq?

Auxiliary lights

I like the aux light and headlight since they match and are chrome. I'm not really into the black ones. However, based on your video link, the headlight may be in the shoot'em up category based on the price.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Got my Z-moon daymaker and installed it in my adapter.

Pulled my old headlight. took it apart and put the new daymaker light in.
Went well. easy to install. much brighter and had a definite horizontal cut off.

These lights look really nice. Aren’t they even too powerful for a bike? I also want to get something newer for my old bike, but I cannot choose the right model yet. They should be able to shine and not influence the battery working time a lot. I would also like them to be like a smart bulb that can change colours, and you can choose the colour you want these lights to shine. For example, I like purple and would like these lights to be able to shine not only the regular white or yellow but purple too. Do you think it is possible at all? I really hope that it is.

Hello, just a quick check. Has anyone successfully installed this adapter on the 1999 Nomad?

I checked out the installation video and my headlight bucket looks nothing like the one in the video. Mine is a rats nest! 2003 Nomad.
