Bad connection some where on the cables. It might be the new battery wasn't needed at all.

The ground cable shold be checked at the engine end, the hot cables should be checked at the relay/solenoid ends, and at the starter motor.

If that fails the soleoid/relay is suspect and some can be taken apart and repaired by cleaning the burns markings off and or flipping the copper plate over.

The buzz is the solenoid /relay trying to work... That makes finding it easier to do.

It's probably a bad connection. A car battery has a lot more juice than a motorcycle battery and can overcome a poor connection that a weaker motorcycle battery cannot.
