Best Pouch, Bag to mount behind sissybar
I am tired of having to open the side hard bags just to store something for a short tide from store, carry a small item home, etc. Who makes a sissy bar bag, or some sort of pouch that will mout on the rear end of the Nomad that is good for carying small items. thank you.

I hear your frustration! This link will get you started:
http://www.kawanow.org/tips.htm Scroll down to the "Install a Windshield Bag at the back of your Nomad?" section. The only pitfall is that they can be a bit cumbersome to access because of how the lid opens/faces. Face it forward and you have to reach between the back seat and the sissy bar pad. Face it rearward and the license plate assembly gets in the way a little. You may also (or in lieu of a "under the sissy bar bag" option) want to consider a handlebar bag. You can get a fairly good sized single pouch unit there or you can get a 2- or 3-sectioned unit that fits keys, cell phone and wallet (etc) nicely in 2- or 3- separate compartments. Or, do a google search for "sissy bar bags". Also, check the usual suspects, places like: JC Whitney, Chilowhee leather, Metric Thunder, Kuryakyn, Metric Cruiser, etc. Hope this gets you started in the right direction. Daryl Quote:

I mounted a windshield bag in the rear using sissy bar bolts. Used 1" stock (Ace Hdwe), bend in a vise, drill couple holes, paint.....works great. High enough to get by license plate reflectors.
Easy mod!

As ds06 said, go to the tips page on the website. I started using a rear windshield bag three years ago and love it.
