I tell you what, the internet is the best information source for finding the truth.
The politicians got to be sh*tting their pants knowing that any lie they tell can be researched and found to be a lie.

Been a whole lot of "truths" surfacing over the last few years.... thanks to some news organizations actually telling news and not just political proganda.

Maybe thats why there are some of them that are trying to push so hard for controlling it.

But there will always be those out there that would stand in line to lick someones butt cause they were "told" it was the fountain of youth without checking facts.

Lowing the standards so the minorities can be admitted is a shame. It was like that in the military for promotions. Females really had it made. A Seargeant Major that sat on promotion boards told us in a meeting one time that if an MOS called for ten people to get promoted. They selected the best ten. Then someone might say we are supposed to promote one female. They then go through all the females and pick the best one. She is added to the list to be promoted. We ask what about the tenth man that was on the list to be promoted. He told us he wouldn't get promoted although he was one of the ten best. She may have been the 100th best overall but she was the top female. So she gets promoted ahead of a lot better soldiers than her. This quota stuff has got to end. A lot of good deserving people are getting shafted.

Honestly this is nothing new. The U of Michigan has been openly doing this for at least 15 years. These are the same people who want to run the Country.

The police, fire dept, have been doing that sort of thing here for years. Even our school board is using those practices the last few years.

Sounds like we have gotten pretty complacent to the fact that this is just the way it is... irrelevant to how long it has been happening, it still doesnt make it ok.

Original intent was equal in terms of opportunity, meaning everyone can get in the race, but it is interpreted by progressives as equality in outcomes, meaning everyone is a winner as it were. In practice, they are actually picking winners, to create, in their minds, justice. The error in their mind is that there is some directed process or cabal that picks successful people or somehow sets the outcome of which they feel is unjust. That process they dislike might be described with terms like free market or even natural selection. Somehow, natural selection, which these same progressives promote in the guise of evolution, ended for humans 10,000 years ago at most. Somehow we need their direction to create and shape outcomes, which would be outside anything natural. I find their beliefs contradictory.

My own beliefs are such that everyone has a right to be at the starting line. After that, whatever happens, happens. Equal opportunity≠equal outcomes. It shouldn't.
