How was your Summer?

Hi all!
Things has been quiet on the Canada East Group, so I though of asking how your Summer went?

I did a lot of day rides, had a couple of motorcycle camping trips & I also became a Grandfather!

It has went by too fast. I did alot of day rides and 1 week long camping trip. I've got another camping trip planned for the week of Oct 11-15 in the NC/Va mountains.

ive did pretty much the same things except i wasnt camping and have lost count on the grand kids

Work eat sleep. And mowed 3 acres of grass sometimes twice a week. Plenty of rain this past summer to keep it growing. Rode hard ever Sunday evening though, most of the time 200 plus miles of country back roads. Did get to make two trips into the mountains of Tenn, Georgia, North Carolina. Love riding in those hills.

I keep meaning to take the bike camping, not much time left. Replaced my 900 in may and im just over 9k on the nomad this year. so far so good.

my wife and I leave the 10th for lake watuagua just west of boone probably 25 min.

Working 50 to 55 hours a week at the shop. Have still managed to get in 5000 miles on the nomad this summer and am still riding. Made the trip to the National which accounted for almost half of those miles. Still riding but will need to break out the heated gear for the morning ride to work soon.

Traded my 500 for a 2005 Nomad in June. Have put about 5000 miles on the Nomad. No trips, just day rides.
