I had that problem a while back when the credit card expiration date had been reached. I just updated with my new card exp date....problem solved.

You may have to go into your paypal account and make the credit card the primary account.

It does sort of sound like a PayPal issue. But contact Lonnie, he owns Grasshopper. He is a great guy, I've ridden with him. He'll treat you right. His email is bf4cm28@yahoo.com

I've got one and have had NO problems with it! As far as the credit card via paypal.... that's a paypal issue. You need to go into your account info and place a credit card on file and have it set as a primary. Being that I've used it for ebay for over 5-6 years now...I've gotten to know the paypal system pretty good.

Mine works perfect. It may and may not be at the perfect angle to where you sit but you can "pursuade" it in a strong bench vice and mold the shape for a perfect fit!! You don't need it to have adjustable knobs because it's your bike not a community bike..

Mine arrived last week & we took a 288 mile ride on Saturday w/o any back pain. It's a great product & an EZ install. Delivery was 10 days to California & install time was 5 minutes.

As to the Pay-Pal issue, look somewhere on the page for the word "change". When you click on this it allows you to change your type of payment from your bank account to a credit card you have registered with them. For some reason Pay-Pal prefers to make your bank account the default payment, but, you can change to a credit card payment with some effort. -Rich

Here you go: http://www.grasshopperlimited.com/

It's on my maybe list. Has anyone used it with a lowered saddle (like from the guy at http://greatdaytoride.com/Home_Page.php) ? I definitely will want to have my saddle a little bit lowered, just wondering if it affects the fit and comfort of the grasshopper.

Hey there,
Does anyone find that this backrest keeps you too far forward in the saddle. I kind of mocked up the passenger backrest to see how it would fit and feel. I felt pushed fwd. a bit. In Grasshopper's picture for the Nomad, the backrest seems to sit fwd.. I'm wondering about your comments Blowendodge CME. Is it hard to adjust and is that why you took yours to the vice ???
