HD fairing mirrors on the reckless fairing

Just wondering if anyone has done this on the reckless fairing with 6x9's and has pictures, also any tips or tricks for this install if it has been done.

Somebody just installed some on a Reckless fairing, I can't remember who it was, though. I don't think he had 6x9's. Maybe they will pipe up and help.

fltekdiver is the one that just installed them on his reckless fairing.

He's the only person I know of who has mounted those mirrors on a Reckless fairing, regardless of speaker size. I'd think he could give you the measurements for the mounting base and you could determine if you have enough space to mount them next to your 6x9's.

that would be perfect fairing still not here, stuck in memphis due to weather, ordered it on the 25th I know thats not there fault but you know how we all get impatient when we got toys arriving, hopefully soon

When I ordered my fairing last spring, it was delayed because Nashville was flooded.

Scott did you ever find a suitable amp for the install, I have been looking at the elf audio mini, I want something with true rms wattage, some mini amp claiming to produce 600 watts when in reality it produces 5 watts more than the deck itself.

does anyone know how much vibration gets transfered to the mirrors?

When I acquired my HD fairing, it came with the mirrors. They were a bit damaged, but I mounted them - looks GREAT when parked. But running, there is too much vibration rendering them useless. What I want to figure out is - it the problem the mirrors (not enough spring left in the mount) or too much vibration on the fairing?

I can't imagine the nomad having more vibration then the HD..... but then again I am using an adapted part.....
