Rain, Rain, Rain...

I bought a new rain suit today. I guess that's the only way we will get to ride the Nomad. I'm sick of all this rain! :(" title="" border="0"/> I knew if I had a ride planned this time of year the weather would be screwed up.

It is 28 here today. I ride out in about an hour. Yesterday I rode 300 miles through through snow and hail. 380 miles to go today. Rain: count your blessings! Sheesh. Some parts of the country get all the luck.

Don't blame you zoom. It's been raining here in ETex for the last week and a half. It's finally starting to move out. Supposed to be clear here starting Thursday afternoon.

I just hope I can ride out of it tomorrow morning, but I don't think it will be as bad as it was in Kansas on the way back from Custer :)
Sure wish you could join us Zoom

Im just glad that it is rain rather than snow. Id of done a lot of shoveling if it dropped just a little colder. Im hoping to put that off as long as possible.

In Georgia our biggest lake, Lake Lanier hasn't been full in over 6 years.

Luckily, though, dank, with your 'integrated hand-sheild-wind-blockers' on that 'other' bike of yours, you could probably ride for a sustained period of time at 0 degrees F. with no appreciable effect on your extremities. hee hee hee :-*

Rain, Rain, Rain...

this year the "wet coast" hasn't been so wet. In fact it's been dangerously dry and the forest fires have been bad. We had one of our first rainy days in a long, long while, the other day. It's suppose to rain for the entire week now. But right now the sun is shining with some over casting in the distance. I'm sure it'll rain as promised today. My bike insurance is up in five more days so I'm going to take advantage of what sunshine, and dry weather we get between now and the 19th.

It has been off and on freezing drizzle most of the last 4 days. Just warm enough for it not to stick to bad. Lowest we saw was 15 and until today, the high was 38. I'll take the rain and warmth compared to this.

Wompus,
Those exhaust tips almost look familiar.

Jim, I sure wish I could be riding with you but between a very busy work schedule and things I have got to fix on the house I had to take any free time I had and fix the house. After 24 years it has a lot of trim and painting that needs to be repaired. (And now it's raining everyday!)
