Are you wanting to part with them Beezer.If so,what would you take for them ?
I eventually want to install V&H but since I have been off all summer,things are alittle tight to get those right now.

I took my V&H off when I sold my Nomad. There is a small crack on the back header. If you are interested, PM me and I will take some close up pictures. I am thinking $100.00 plus S&H.

I'd go with the V&H and get a plate welded over the crack if I were you.

I have a 99 Nad that came with Muzzy fishtails. I cleaned th3em up but they were not perfect. I found a brand new set exactly like mine on Ebay for $150 in the box with classic adapters (anyone need a set) and sold th3e old pipes to a Vroc member for $75

I was hoping to have the exhaust on before I head to Missouri.

I decided to go with a new set from V&H. Will I need new gaskets when I install them ?

YES you should install new Crush gaskets.. the old may or may not work,,for the few $$$ get new ones,, YOU can use HD flange gaskets but I read some where they are thicker and some have issues with them.NOT 100% sure.... ALSO whenyou install the NEW Gaskets,, DO NOT TORQUE in 1 shot..YOU want to crush them as evenly as possible.... DO 3 steps, like 9/12 17 ft lbs. or something like that..My Honda is final torque at 17 ft lbs,, The Nomad may be 19 ft lbs,,, Ill try and find out if no one post the info on exact final torque.......The Toruqe wrench at Sears is around 30$..I use it on the Nomad and my Mountain bike....WORKs good,,,,,Rich
