HELLO FROM IRAQ!!!!!!!
Hello to all my kawanow friends. Been in country for a little more than a month now. Things have definitely slowed as far as how many soldiers are getting hurt but there is still a war going on here. We get medevac calls on a regular basis. Surprisingly, it's a little lonely today for all of us here at Camp Echo. The mess hall is cooking up something good I'm sure but I certainly am missing my wifes cooking and baking. We normally have a large group of about 15 today.
I want you all to know that the soldiers here are glad to do what they do if it means you all can sit safely at your tables today and enjoy what you have. they are great kids. I only ask that you say a prayer (if religion is your thing) or just give them a moment of thought. I miss my bike and my wife! Will be happy to get home to them. Haven't had much time to check in on guys for awhile now. Kawanow has grown a bunch since I signed on. Ride safe and Happy Thanksgiving to you all. vin (flightdoc) ;) Login or Register to Remove Ads |

HELLO FROM IRAQ!!!!!!!
Hey Vin,
My deepest thanks for your service. I know that the military is lonely on the holidays and really appreciate you and your comrades. May God's blessings be with you and your family, may His Spirit guide you, may His angels watch over and protect you so that you will one day return safely home.

HELLO FROM IRAQ!!!!!!!
Good to hear from you again Vin.
Not much I can add to what has been said. Stay safe and we appreciate the sacrifices you and the others over there make for our freedom. I watch MASH on tv, is your unit anything like that? ;) Just kidding man, sorry you can not be home with your family for the hollidays but hey, if it was easy, anybody could do it. Take care.

HELLO FROM IRAQ!!!!!!!
A prayer to you and everyone else serving in our military. We are able to do what we want because of you brave souls. Thank you. On a lighter note I am a little concerned that you mentioned your bike before your wife. For your safety, I hope it was merely a typo and not how you really feel, or you may want to sign on for another tour. Just kidding STAY SAFE
