Absolutely, put it on you battery tender overnight first. That way you start with a full charge.

It may come dry. You may have to add acid (included). In any case, charge it over night on your low 2 amp setting just to make sure she's topped off and ready to go.

Absorbed Glass Mat.
I don't know about your exact model but this is what Yausa's site had to say about AGM charging;

Most Yuasa AGM batteries are available either “factory
activated” or as a dry battery with an acid pack. A “factory
activated” battery does not require filling before installation.
An extensive activation process ensures complete absorption
of the electrolyte so no liquid acid is contained within the
battery. This process allows these batteries to be shipped from
the factory ready to install.

A low charging at the lowest setting is a good idea, and towards 10 hours, but if this is ready to go you can ride first and charge after. I keep my batt on a charger any time the bike is home and parked. I added the pig tail so I simply plug it in. been plugged in all winter and by the lok of it wintah' ain't ova yet, and won't be for a long time.

I don't need no stinkin' helmet because I am a rock head.

Don't worry I lost my ego somewhere a long time ago, so long ago I don't remember where i was.

I am pretty sure the AGM "Glass Mat" batteries dont take no acid/water!
they could be mounted sideways, even upside down if need be. I never charged my AGM, just insatlled it and it was ready to go!

I have noticed the prices of the new Lithium Batteries have come down and are available from Autozone. I may try one next time if I ever wear out my AGM

Actually, they do. AGM stands for Absorbed Glass Mat. The material inside absorbs the liquid like a sponge so there isn't any liquid sloshing around inside. One of the resulting benefits is no liquid leakage. The primary benefit is the AGM material supports the lead plates which reduces plate flexing and warping. This results in longer battery life.

I'll be sure to check out those Wally world batteries. I think mine is just about ready to poop out on me.
