Headed for the mountains

Well, Krystal has a 4 day weekend and promptly told me we are heading out of town somewhere. Asked where and she didn't care, just out of here. Plans are made and hopefully I can keep up on the blog that I started. Estimated time of departure, Thursday at 8 a.m. Only one day longer than 200 miles so there will be plenty of time to stop and smell the proverbial roses.

Thanks Brad. RELAX is the main option on this trip. No longer than 200 mile days, no itinerary just get to the next hotel before dark. Only time we have to be somewhere is to meet some good friends on the way to Glenwood Springs.

Well, our trip is done. Only one bad day weather wise out of the 4 days and it was the last day. Talk about grueling. Rain most of the day along with horrible traffic. We traveled roughly 35 miles and averaged less than 15 mph on the interstate.
