Florida Meet and Camp

Looks like neither Mike or Ron will be available for camping in February. So, I'm changing this all around. I plan to pull my camper to Avon Park for the weekend of February 6th. There are campgrounds in the area but no state park with with openings.

If there's interest in getting together that Saturday, let me know - we can schedule a meet and eat at Homers [Smorgasbord] in Avon Park.

Clyde, we might find a place for your tent by the lake at my cousin's.

Which Avon Park is it? Near Sebring or Miami. With nice weather, an RTE would be ok.

This is the Avon Park next to Sebring. Leeanne and I are pulling the camper over Saturday and "camping" at my cousin's place on Little Red Water Lake. Supposed to be good weather - long ride for the Jax folks if you want to RTE.

Just let me know.

I read the reviews on Homers and it will be the first and only five star buffet I have been to. The ride is only 160 miles. If the weather is good I'm good to go. Eiddther that or I will follow through on bleeding my brake lines. What time are you folks looking at?

We can plan on 12:30 at Homer's for the ride in. I can drag Leeanne along. Do you think you'll have any luck with some of those fair weather Jax riders?

You Florida guys have it made. Here in north Alabama it has been a little too chilly for rides over 20 miles.

Yes, I really slept out - 40 degrees, not to bad but I wouldn't call it camping 'cause we ate indoors at my cousin's.
