I really didn't know where to put this....but this board seems like as good as spot as any. This is good, even if you don't like country music. Turn on your sound

It's been 38 years. Whenever I visit the Wall I still cry. That song and the pictures did it too.
I'm not the least bit ashamed to say I'm crying now. I for one will never forget.

Thank you JussMatt
I was a Marine in Viet Nam, I have a picture of the Wall hanging in my livingroom but just can't seem to bring myself to visit the real thing. The Wall means differant thing to each Vet, that is were my friends are and I wonder sometimes why I'm not with them. I think I will spend some time with them today. Thanks again Semper Fi it's not just a slogan, it's who you are |

There was a POM/MIA rally here last month. Last year they had a replica of The Wall, it was very emotional to walk the length and read the stories of the heros who fought and died. This year, they had pictures and stories of Medal of Honor winners from Iraq. Stories that we never hear on the six o'clock news because they do not match with the PC version of the Iraq debacle. I came away with tears in my eyes because our children have no idea of the sacrifice made by true heros or what it really takes to maintain our freedom. We are giving our country away and dismissing the sacrifices of our military men and women. I fear for our future.

I'm right there with you Idaho.... What our country is turning into scares the crap out of me!! It just blows my mind that Americans in general are so inept to think for themselves and follow what ever the media blows at them. You can take most any American who's buying into the bullsh*t and sit down and have a conversation with them, and ask questions of them to make them think for themselves about an answer, and you can literally see a spark come on once you engage their brain. Then they find it hard to believe that they were believing the media to begin with. Certainly most on here know my feelings and thoughts on the subject, but it still amazes me how people just wont think for themselves!!!! I think it was AG that said it best... "Sheeple". These are the very people who when America turns into a 3rd world country will ask "what happened" and try and blame somebody else, when they did nothing and let it happen!!!
