Cheap Cycle Parts

I've done business with CCP several times before. They are cheaper than Bike Bandit but sure are slower in shipping. I ordered 2 o-rings and 2 gaskets for the cam chain tensioners on 4/11, Monday of last week. I've been tracking the shipment which according to CCP left this past Monday. Still not here. :(" title="" border="0"/> If it arrives tomorrow that will be 11 days. ??? Something for you all to think about if you are in a bind for OEM parts. I'll pay somebody else a little extra next time in order to receive my stuff in a reasonable amount of time.

I purchased some items from CCP this winter, and I wasn't really impressed with the speed of service either. I'm spoiled by Dennis Kirk whenever I order from them, as my items arrive in one day. Too bad they don't have many OEM parts.

Yep, I have had slow shipping from CCP as well. Every time I order something from them, I order extra stuff like exhaust gaskets, o-rings, and the like so I don't find myself in a bind due to an urgent need for a $2 part that my local dealer might not stock. Since their base shipping fee is like $12.95, adding a couple of small parts usually doesn't increase the shipping fee.

What a racket these OEM parts guys (both dealers and third party) have going!

I never had a problem with shipping. Then again I have only needed parts during each January when I had the bike apart and planned all the parts I needed. I would think springtime is busy for them. I had mine within a week. The cost was at least 40% less than my local dealer.

I've had good experiences with CCP. Most all online purchases for anything I buy are based on the "I am in no hurry" way of thinking. I always want my stuff yesterday, but, as long as I get what I order without problems, all is good.

BTW, Waiting a few extra days to save some $$$ from an online company that sells almost every part for almost every motorcycle, atv, etc. for less than most others should not be too big a deal. If everyone who orders from them saves money, then they need volume to make up the difference. JMHO

That is where I purchased my Cobra FI2000R and had it within a week. I was satisfied with their service. Of course if my bike had been down and I needed it sooner than a week I might not feel the same way.

My stuff came in today. I can understand why their shipping charges are a higher than Bike Bandit and others. 2 small o-rings and 2 gaskets were shipped in a box that measured 8"x8"x8". I thought they had forgotten to put the o-rings and gaskets in the carton. The tiny plastic envelopes were in a large wad of brown paper. Those tiny pieces could have been shipped in a small bubble envelope for less than $1. Shipping was $5.99 for $5.64 of parts. Could kick myself for not ordering header gaskets, oil screen o-ring, final drive drain gasket, etc. That's the only way to get your money's worth from outrageous shipping charges. My dealer doesn't stock those "weird" items.

The low bidder for my fender which isn't here in 16 days....yet wanted 120 bucks for shipping. The next lowest bidder gets 20 for shipping, which came to less than the low bidder, the difference $122.00.

I am far from happy about these out of sight prices.

I can buy a chevy truck fender for 60 bucks, which is 4 times the steel.

And these dealers????? with no parts in stock?

I bet the after market guys don't stock parts either, and order from warehouses, which takes extra time.
