It kind of amazes me when I look at all the threads on here and see how many views most of them get compared to the relatively few replies. I think this is a common phenomenon among most forums. There appears to be a lot of "Lurkers" among us...watching, reading and learning.

For all of you "closet members of KawaNOW" out there...don't be afraid to chime in. All of the opinions shared here are valuable and gives each of us a perspective we may not have considered.

The more perspectives we have/share, the better prepared we are to make informed decisions regarding mods, purchases, etc.

I'm still fairly new to this board, but have learned a ton and feel as though I have made good friends I don't even know yet! Hopefully the rally in Custer next June will fill in those gaps.

It will be great to meet the people who have helped me learn so much about my Nomad and made me feel welcome here, so don't be afraid to share a thought or two...you just might find you like it... ;)

Cheers...Kris

Blessed is the man who has nothing to say......and doesn't say it. I often view and then don't post because the discussion has already covered all I know on a topic plus a little bit more. I'm sure that is true of many of what you interpret to be "lurkers."

Sometimes things are better left in the closet. I kid.

I wonder how many more veiws you would get if you had the word "SEX" in your title. ;)

I also find that I abort alot of my replies cause by the time I type it out, it sounds stupid or whatever.

Of course that's pro bono eh, Dan?? ;) ;) ;)

Kris,
You're absolutely right, and I'm as guilty as the next. Reading some of these posts, and the obvious levels of expertise that most have on this forum; I get the impression that, personally, there's not much that I can contribute other than the fact that I love my Nomad. I even love my embroidered bag liners!

Anyway, no sense joining a forum if you're just gonna lurk. I'll try to do my share of posting going forward.

And since the Nomad's all tucked away for winter, I'll need something to help vent the frustration... :'(
