Improved MPG

I don't know if the Seafoam helped or if California changed from their winter oxygenated gas back to the regular mix...BUT... I'm consistently getting ~3+ MPG better than before the Seafoam treatment 3 weeks ago.
Around Town ~32.5 MPG.

On May 3rd I increased my POT #1 setting to 3:00 to get rid of pinging with the hotter weather we've been having so It could even be more than 3 MPG.

Seafoam may be the ticket!

Bob i noticed my mpg has went up quite a tad since I opened up the left air filter with a K&N, will calculate it on paper soon when I fill up soon. I have no fuel processor just V&H. I also noticed the fan doesn't comes on anymore like it did before the mod. and we have had some 98 degree days in TX

The only thing that changed for me was the Seafoam treatment. Filled up this morning. Yellow light on at 138 miles. Filled at 145 miles using 4.59 gallons = 31.58 MPG.

I ride to work everyday. Since last November I've averaged 27.1 MPG.
Since the Seafoam treatment I've used 3 tanks of gas and averaged 31.8 MPG.

I picked up 2-3 mpg after 2 Sea Foam Tx's..... went form 33 to 35/36 mpg's.....

On our ride today to Dana Point and back (165 miles) 2 up! averaged 38.5 mpg!!! Best I've ever gotten! Mostly freeway 70-75 mph.........

I haven't done anything lately to mine but I am getting better MPG also. I think it may have something to do with the gas I'm using or something along those lines. I am using strickly Shell lately and I'm getting about 3-5 mpg better. Went from about 38 to 41-43 last two fill ups.

I have a feeling we have been burning winter blend, which is more volatile and seems to give less MPG. I guess the summer blend finally got in the pipeline.

I had to attend a couple of meetings in Ontario last Thursday and Friday, 84 miles round trip each day and I got 43mpg. That's riding in the carpool lanes and keeping up with traffic.

I noticed that mine had gone up about 3MPG when I filled the tank yesterday. Also, temps jumped from the 70's to the hundred's suddenly last week. I always use much less gas when it's hot.

I got 43 mpg today with mid grade gas. I recently changed the oil, cleaned the throttle bodies and added Seafoam to my gas tank along with adding on a K&N air filter.

It's a fuel injector/fuel system cleaner sold by NAPA. A bit more expensive, but worth the money. The less often you ride your bike, the more often you should use some.
