Winterized
Hi everyone,
I've been away from the virtual bike world for awhile... hope everyone has had a great season. it was a bit nippy in morning rides this past week and today Electra ran out of insurance. I added some fuel stabilizer to the tank and parked her for a few months. Take care everyone, Elvis Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Where we live, winterizing is a periodic fuel system maintenance program. Most people perform this maintenance during winter months, hence the term "winterizing". Contrary to the belief winterizing has nothing to do with icy roads or snow.

Winterizing is the process that makes your bike last twice as long as someone who can ride year round.

I rode mine last Friday, and unless the snow comes tomorrow, I hope to still be able to ride to work this week

He likes to rub in the fact they can ride year round in California. Even though we are very considerate of their feelings when we ride in the summer and it is to hot for them to ride

I'd always assumed when you alluded to individuals with wise ass answers, he'd be one of the main ones exempt from the usual suspects. I believe where Brad lives, eighty degrees is a hot day.

I sure do. It's all good, though. How else would we pass time in the Winter?

You southeners are missing out big time on the winter season. Waaay up here we get to experience it to its fullest..then when spring comes..I think we appreciate riding more because some of us only have a 5 month season to ride.
