As anyone of you tried the paint from "color rite"? How close is it to a perfect match and what kind of finish did you get?

I used Colorite polyurethane paint to paint my trunk and to repaint the saddle bag side doors. I am real happy. Only problem, they are on the pricey side. But I like the paint flow of the polyurethane paint better than enamel.

GREAT looking lowers. You guys keep costing me $$$ LOL. I will get a set soon.... As for Paint, I went to Car Quest,which has a Paint Dept.. He shot my Nomad with a Paint Scanner Camera when I did my trunk, IMO the color was Nuts on. Only wrong I did was use a light base for the blue, SO you have another option and a way better price then Color Rite, My Paint was a Chromium Base or something like that.. Toyota color I think:)

I got mine on and mocked up two nights ago and they look great. The lines of the lowers look fantastic with the lines of the bike. Now they just need to get to shiny to being shiny black and I'll be real happy! I will be putting them in primer tomorrow!

You have to email Trip to ask to be put on the member list of KawaNOW. Just signing up for the forum isn't the same thing. Trip will send you an email with your number. There is a sticky link at the top of each forum board that gives the current member list and Trip's email for request.
