Vaquero smoked tail light

Of course they don't exist! But this film from iJDMtoy.com looked easy, and the price was right. This was my first application, so we'll see how well it stays. BTW, my tail light trim is off getting a carbon fiber hydrographics film applied . . . so is my headlight trim My gas tank trim is supposed to be getting a carbon fiber effect too, but the place I decided to try first has had it since February and isn't returning my calls or emails

THIS TIME, I found someone local that I can easily harass if similar trouble arises.

Looks nice. Tail lights almost always look better when they're smoked with LEDs. (Just my opinion + the opinion of everyone in my test group.)

I'm just anxious to see how well it stays and wears. I keep doing a double take when I look at it because it looks so smooth and natural. I like it!

There are 4 screws on the back, but then it took some time to figure out how it was snapped in place too. It took a few minutes, but eventually came loose

ok thanks...like I said have thought about painting it black (would like to powdercoat but since its pastic can't) but at the same time it won't look good for the taillight trim to be black unless I also do the whole turnsignal assembly

I left it chrome for now, because my plan is to get rid of those signals all together. I just haven't decided what I want to do. Doing LOTS of Google image searches for now.

well, I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I really like what you did with the front turnsignals, that turned out sweet.

Have you considered putting led turn signals on the saddle bags? I would be interested to see what that would look like.

That would be ideal to replace the reflectors. I've already got rid of the stock reflectors but only replaced them with nicer looking ones.
