new member in North Carolina

I live in Garner North Carolina (born and raised in the south and this state). I've ridden my whole life (42 of 52 years) and still counting. Finally switched rides to a vulcan 5 years ago and just bought a new 2010 nomad. Most comfortable bike i've ever ridden. I'd like to learn as much about this bike as possible.

I'm retired Air Force (JAG Corps) after 25 years. Currently working for state.

Look forward to interfacing with others with more experience with nomads.
