No loss air pump

I remember reading different threads on pumps for shocks. Will a regular bicycle pump work? What is needed here?

Colorado,

Get a pump for the shocks. They take very little air and are easy to blow the seals on. Personally I thought it was a waste of money for the progressive pump until I tried one. Works good and is easy to use.

Lots of folks use the Harley pump. I have a Fox pump, which is similar but a little better made. Also costs about twice as much as the Harley pump.

The HD pump is made by Progressive! They put the HD LOGO on it and charge 10$ more!!! I got mine off e bay 21$.NEW,,,from a MC supply place,, Cannot remember the brand,,,seems to be made well...WORKS well and the 0 LOSS feature is perfect.....ALSO you can try a LOCAL Bicycle shop. They may have the 0/60 psi in stock,or they can order yuo one,,,,Rich

I'm sure I paid over $50 with tax for the Fox pump. I bought it at a little bike shop up in Ft. Bragg, so they probably overcharged me, but I also think it is a little better made pump than the Progressive.

No loss air pump

I just ordered myself a Progressive 0-60psi pump.

I had been using a no-loss mini foot pump, but after I got home from the rally, I was going to reduce the air in the shocks and the mini foot pump was leaking. I'd pump the shock to 30psi and watch the gauge on the pump drop to 0. I know it isn't a blown air bladder in the shock because the same thing happened on the other side and on the front tire. I got the mini foot pump on closeout and it only cost me $10. Now I know why.
