What highway pegs are you using
I have some pretty cheap highway pegs on the bike from the previous owner. I have looked at all the major sites I can think of and to be honest, the pegs confuse me. Do you need the kit, the mounts, quick clamps, etc. Also, very hard to tell what the postition of the new footpegs will be. I like the look of the kuryaken offet duallys. I am trying to find something lets the legs go forward without getting them too high up in the air
Maybe I'm just stupid. It's been suggested a lot lately. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

A lot of guys on here have the kuryaken offset duallys. Everyone who has them likes them as far as I know.
That being said I have a cheap $20 pair and mount them so I can rest my heel on the boards and my toes on the pegs. I just can't see spending a lot of money on pegs when the ones I have work fine for me.

I have the Kuryakyn Offset Iso Pegs. The model number is #7993. The crash bar magnum clamps are 1 1/4" ID. The offset pegs give you a vast amount of adjustment for the best comfort. I have mine adjusted where I can rest my heels on the floorboards and toes on the pegs, whole boot on the peg, or lay the outsides of my ankles on top of the pegs. It's nice to be able to change positions like that on a long trip. The link below will take you where I purchased mine. They are great people to deal with.

Kuryaken ISO offset on our Nomad as well. I put my heel on the floorboard and rest my toes on the Kuryakens. Just a little room to move the feet a bit.
Note; the chrome is peeling. The rest of the Kawasaki chrome is perfect. I keep the bike clean & waxed. I will not buy them again as I consider them only a "fair" value.

I have the Kury longhorn offsets. I love them, as they are adjustable in so many ways. I purchased mine through Dennis Kirk online. No regrets.

TKD-
I bought some "cheapies" like TC when I first got the bike. The ones I bought were basic round ones. I hated them because my boots would slip or the bracket would move due to the weight of my leg. I was planning on investing in very expensive ones until I positioned the cheapies like TC did (heel on floorboard and toe on peg). Presto...great comfort and position and no more issues. Saved me some big bucks...that I proceeded to spend on other goodies. Good luck!

I ordered the 7993 but found no matter how I tried to move them around, the offsets moved the pegs too far out for my legs.
I should have ordered 8033 which puts the peg closer to the bar. Fortunately, I found a guy who ordered what I did minus the offsets, so we're swapping.
