awesome riding day
Put 200 miles on my bike riding in central Vermont today. Crossed the Appalachian Gap and the Brandon Gap and did Bethel Mountain/Camp Brook Road to boot. Riding down US7 with the Green Mountains visible to my east and the Adirondacks to the west it was heaven on two wheels. To top it all off I stopped at Cyclewise in Middlebury, VT and they had an '06 Nomad green and silver. Got my mind going until I got back on my own bike and realized that I already have a terrific bike and would be pretty hard pressed to find something better. My new tires have really improved the ride and all I need now is some riding buddies to get into trouble with. Ice cream anybody? Here's a pic I took near Norwich University.

racinchef,
Sounds like a great ride in some beautiful country. Glad you are enjoying the tires. I am still trying to decide if I should go with the White Wall tires on my nomad. Yours sure looks good with them. |

Sounds like a great ride. I agree, though, those green and silver Nomads are truly something special.

awesome riding day
I think when it comes to beautiful riding country, with "hills and curves", we are truly blessed in New England. Sure our season is shorter than most, but it never gets boring riding the beautiful roads of the Northeast. If only there would be more time for riding these days
