You could most likely get away with just the Barnett spring on its own, although those clutch packs seem to be priced very reasonably. We never here of guys needing to replace the plates and discs too often.

If he is pulling any weight in that trailer the stock clutch will slip even with a Barnett or MS spring and Judges washers.
The guys using a trailer as a suitcase and packing lightly can get by with it. I know of several who had to change out the clutch after pulling trailers on extended trips through up and down country. MT
