Motorcycle Wheel Chock
I got a Harbor Freight flyer today with a coupon for the Motorcycle Wheel Chock at $29.99. Offer ends 3/09/09. I didn't look on the HF website, but you might find a coupon there. I can fax you one if you email me your fax number.
This is a real good wheel chock. I bought one about 18 months ago and it works well. I have it mounted in my cargo trailer now but some folks mount them on a sheet of plywood and use it in their garage. Our Nomads fit nicely on these chocks. And the price is right. BnG aka Dave Mills

That is a good deal. I don't need one but if I am not mistaken many places charge twice that.

Thanks. I've been waiting for them to go back on sale. I have one and told the ol lady I'm going down to get another and as soon as the swelling goes down, I'm heading out. HF stopped sending out catalogs here.

Yeah I ck'd for an online coupon also; but there doesn't seem to be one. It is listed as Bob stated; $39.99
I may stop by HF and just tell them I saw where they had a coupon for the discount and see what they say.

Motorcycle Wheel Chock
Just ordered the one online for $39.99. Hope it gets here in time for me to go pick up my new bike next week! Already had a 6' x12' covered trailer and want to make sure that sucker is secured right.

I'm checking to see if the HF in El Paso will honor the sale based on the UPC number given. I have 6x12 covered trailer and would like to have a couple of these for hauling bikes as well.
Thanks for the info. |

Ok so how does this fit on the nomad? I don't like that picture of the sport bike. Looks like the chock could be hitting the brake rotor. I need one before Custer for the trailer I will be using and this one does look good.

Motorcycle Wheel Chock
I have two of these on my flatbed trailer. They do a good job supporting the bike. On our way to Mesquite last year, the 1" Harbor Freight "El-Cheepo" ratchet strap holding Anita's bike broke. The chock did a good job holding the bike in position & preventing it from falling over. It fits the Nomad like a glove. I would recommend them.................

Motorcycle Wheel Chock
I bought the Haul Master wheel chock for $29.99 at a Harbor Freight store yesterday. The price was $39.99 and I told them it was $29.99 online. They checked online and gave me the online price. I am going to bolt this onto the wooden floor of my utility trailer. Did anyone do anything special to bolt this chock down? What hole position did you end up using on the pivoting bracket? I have a 2008 Nomad. Any advice on tie down straps and their location would be appreciated.

Mount it on back holes, basically for the largest tire. Also that long bar that came with it, i threw that away and mounted d-rings on all four corners of my trailer.

Motorcycle Wheel Chock
vidornomad... My chock doesn't have "back holes" came assembled, with 3 holes up and down in a line. Mine is in the middle slot. Mine didn't have a "long bar" either.. This is a great chock though, even though it's the only one I have personally dealt with. I bolted mine to the harbor freight table lift and that's where I park my bike every day.. just open the garage, drive onto the lift and into the chock and get off bike.. works great and I don't need to find a storage place for the lift. for 30 bucks, you can't beat it with a stick..
