oil drain plug
right in the middle of doing oil change, and dont remember if plug has a washer or not, but always check my oil and found a washer in the drain pan, just want to make sure it goes on this bike and not my other,tech manual doesnt say

found it in the tech manual, on parts breakdown,, i'm so glad i found it before i put the new oil in, that would of SUCKED

If you removed the "Oil Drain Plug" on the bottom of the engine, then yes it does have a soft aluminum crush washer to seal with, I wouldn't reuse it more than once. But if you drained your oil through the oil screen plug on the side of the engine (left) then it has an O-ring to seal with.

Just be sure you don't over tighten the oil screen plug or it will be bad when you try to get it out, trust me :( I'm waiting on a new one to come in.

thanks Ron, hows things going, want to get out and ride but this new job has got me so busy, by the time the weekend is here i just crash, and play in the pool.

Things are going good. School is out and just getting the bike ready for the National Rally in a couple weeks. We need to meet for dinner on a Saturday or something.

sounds good to me, need to TLC the Gecko right now, plus working on the other bike to commute the 1 1/2 miles to work
