LED / HID Headlamp
Hey Riders! I've been on the forum for some time now, but never posted before.
I used to own an M109R, but changed to a Vaquero! Great bike! I saw some Vaqueros with the daymaker type of headlamps here, so I decided to give it a try. Not as easy as I expected it to be, this was a 5 hour job with lots of fab to do. If it wasn't for the Dremel, it would have been much harder to complete. But here it is, finally! Is that an JW Speaker Evo 2?
What did you pay for the light and trim ring and where did you get it? |

Can you give me the Ebay link? At that price are you absolutely sure it is not a knock off? They are $360 from the place I was going to purchase one.

Good article. It is definetly not a JW Speaker brand. The box reads 7080 Evolution 2, and it does not show a brand at all, nor does the headlamp.
This is my second set, though. I have that same headlamp on my Harley Electra Glide with the auxiliary lamps and they work amazingly. It was worth trying for the low price, IMHO- So in the end I ended up buying this second set. Never heard before of the JW Speaker brand, but in your link they really look good and with much higher quality overall. If you are looking for the highest quality, you might be dissapointed with this eBay option. I believe not dissapointed in their performance, but in their manufacturing looks.

Okay, so I bought the driving light from them as I am hoping I won't have to butcher the bracket. How much fabricating did you have to do to the bracket for the headlight? I have read that you have to remove the tab and can never go back.
