Windshields and big beards
Anyone else ride with a windshield and has a big beard that flies up in your face? Seems that the air comes up under the windshield and blows my beard up into my face. Besides taking the windshield off or cutting my beard or putting it in a ponytail which is what Im doing now, any other options.

I see that all the time. Guys riding and their beard is split in the middle and goes up each side of their face. Sorry no help but I think the ponytail thing is your best bet.

The beard problem was one reason Honda put a vent in their windshields. Didn't really help much with beards, but it did make the ride cooler. I don't think anyone has come up with a real solution other than getting it to split (but that probably won't work if it's blowing in your eyes), plaiting, or tying it up some way.

The best solution I came up with was glasses. Already wear sunglasses during the day, started wearing a clear version at night. It at least keeps from the random eye pokes.

Trim it up?
Tie it up? Add extensions below the windshield? The kind that mount to the fork legs and direct the airflow around the fuel tank instead of up behind the windshield.

I just recently cut down my beard to a 3-4" goatee. My beard was down to my belly. A full face helmet will keep the beard out of your eyes but it will still blow up in your face and obscure your vision. I ended up putting it in a pony tail. The more hair ties you use, the stiffer your pony tail will be and the less it will move. If your beard is thick enough, there are leather wraps (geared towards women with long hair but I'm not judging) that tie around your hair/beard that would probably keep it tighter and might look better than a dozen hair ties.

I've been rocking the full face for about a year now. Which my beard isn't long enough to blow up to where I can see it. When it's hot I wear my brain bucket and do the multiple hair tie thing. I got a daughter and wife I steal hair ties from. I actually had to trim my mustache last summer cause it was blowing in my eyes. Made the wife happy that I trimmed something.
