Ok guys and gals it's only 6 months until the rally and we all know how fast that will go by so I'm starting a new thread. We need to know who's coming and when your going to show up.
At present my wife and I plan on leaving Sunday the 12th. Now this could change but we'll be there at least a day early. We plan on having a meet and greet cookout Tuesday the 14th with Hamburgs, hotdogs, and your usual picnic stuff. It should start around 6ish or so. I guess Budman and I plan on doing the cooking unless someone wants to volunteer.
For those of you that haven't been to one of our rally's yet, Wednesday the 15th will be a group ride day ( route undetermined ) Thursday the 16th is the off day ( some of us will still ride) and Friday the 17th will be another group ride ( route undetermined ) and Saturday the 18th we'll all head home. After the meet and greet we will discuss routes and ride leader. I know there has already been routes made by Budman that we will share with everybody at a later date.
I hope everybody is excited as I am about our rally. If you have any questions just PM me.
Be sure to fill out the VBA waiver and ice form and bring them with you ( if you forget we'll have some at the rally).

Since the holidays are over Teresa, Rick, Liz and myself are making rally plans. And this area of Missouri is one of our favorite places. If anyone wanted to come early or stay after the rally this is a great vacation spot. There are several rivers to take float trips, caves to explore, wineries to visit. The area is rich with civil war history and lots of state parks and state historic sites to see. Also with the rally dates being what they are, one could easily make the Salem rally and ride on north to Wisconsin to the VBA-NC rally in Hillsboro. There is a small Kawasaki dealer in Rolla and one can get Route 66 memorabilia up there. There is even a small piece of the original Route 66 one can ride on. Hopefully the weather will straighten out and we will have a beautiful June with warm days and cool evenings. Oh, yes, we have a room booked. So does Rick and Teresa.

I hoped you two would be able to make it.
It would be great riding up there with you.
But it's possible that I may be taking the truck up there.
Hauling ice chest etc. First I'll have to rework the trailer to fit both bikes.
I could try to talk Crystal into trailering her trike up there while I rode.
But she was pretty clear last time on her thoughts about pulling the trailer.
Give me a call and we'll come up with a plan.

Since I'm suppose to be in charge of this rally haha. You and Crystal go ahead and ride. Lyn can follow me in the truck pulling her Spyder. We may be bringing a dog anyway.
