I'm just wondering about the folks that uses a Harley fairing. Are you using the instrument panel on it and if so how did you wire it in

Yep I have the inner and outer HD fairing. I also have a tach, fuel gauge, clock, volt meter, a USB connection, GPS, hard wired connection, and an Alpine iDA-X100M stereo/"digital media reciever".
I can't help you with the wiring of it though. I have a great friend that is willing to help/do the wiring electrical for me.

If you use aftermarket gauges to fill the holes just follow the instructions that come with them. You will have to install the sending units for the oil and water gauges. I did it on mine and its not that difficult to do.

I have had very little time to ride at all Rick. I will have to catch you soon and bring you up to date. I will ride to Aug 21st for Calgary and then south into Montana for I am not sure how long.

Hey Ring, where/how did you install the sending unit for your water temp gauge?
