Fairing-- Good deal or look elsewhere?
I found this fairing for sale locally for $100 OBO. All he knowS is that it came ofF of a "late pan or shovel head".
Does this look like something that would work for a Nomad or would it be too much work?

imo dont see the point if it doesnt have the inner. if your just looking for looks it would be fine. but without the inner there is no guages, stereo etc. i paid $50 for my outer and inner off of craigslist!

Without the inner fairing they don't look very good from the riders view. If its $100.00 for the fairing and trunk perhaps its worthwhile getting andtrying to find a inner for it.

Utah, it would be nice to know the year so that you can pick up an inner to fit. Gadget's wesite certainly shows what years of HD fairings will match up the inner and outer, but you would need to know the year. If you only want the outer fairing I'm sure you can make it fit.

I have the 96 and newer style. If this a pre 84 FLH (pan-shovel era) one there is no inner availble.
http://www.gadgetjq.com/fairings.htmFor a 100.00 bucks it is a great deal though.

I rode Harleys in the 60's and 70's (yes I know i am old). I actually recognize those items. They are an after market set up that you could put on a FLH in the 70's. They were made by a company named Kulan and were a cheaper version on what Vetter was making back then before the addvent of full dressors from the factory. The biggest drawback is they took a shield that requires it's own mount which I don't see and the fairing is just a fairing, there is no inner for it. There's zero market for those items and so you shouldn't have to pay $100
