MCH Ride in your area.......

Let me suggest that some of you guys plan a get-together in your respective areas......Here at KawaNOW, we call them MCH Rides...."Meet Cha Halfway".

If the weather permits (and sometimes it has to be at the last minute), plan a ride in your area or state and have lunch in a location that everyone can get to, eat and get home in a day.

The one here in Texas is called KMCHTXI......KawaNOW Meet Cha Halfway Ride, Texas I or II or III, etc.

The So. Calfornia guys and gals have had several already. Here in Texas, we tried several months ago, but the weather didn't cooperate.

Maybe this can get us through this cold winter, huh? And BTW, take pics so we can post for everyone to see.

Hey Trip

The wife and I are thinking about property in Texas. Do you know this area. Mt. Pleasant around Lake Palestine. We are getting tired on these cold snowy winters here. I have contacts already for real estate etc. Just looking for some info on the area.

Hey Cookie...my Dad's side of my family is from that area...Tyler, Bullard, Mt. Pleasant... there's some great land around there. What/How much land are you looking for?

Were looking for a small parcel of land with a two/three bedroom around the 75k mark. We have a friend that just bought in the same area. It's a big step for us to do this since we live out of Country. So were taking it one step at a time.

Alright!!! Sounds like we're gonna make a Texan out of Cookie!

I included a map below. Mt. Pleasant is at the top of the map on I-30. Lake Palestine is just to the left and below Tyler. There's a lot of space in between, so if you're looking at locating around Lake Palestine, you might want to look at buying in or around towns like, Chandler, Edom, Ben Wheeler, etc. If you want to get closer to civilization, shopping, restaurants, etc, locate near Tyler.

There are some nice towns around Tyler like, Bullard and Lindale (sound familiar?)

If you need anything at all, I'll be glad to help.

CJ..you're right... not to mention Chandler is a nice place also!! I did some microwave work out there a while back and loved that area!! Everything is pretty close over there too... and man...I liked the Dry Heat opposed to the Humid as Hell heat we have here.

Finally, a reason to feel good about being in Nebraska. Halfway from here will meet a lot of Nomaders. Doesn't matter which way I went, it would be an improvement.
