A Special Thanks

In all the hectic activities of the Talimena Rally and the days that followed, this should have been said earlier. I would like to thank Dave J for providing the numerous cases of beer, and Jesse for providing the 10lbs deer for the chili. Thank you both for making the rally such a success!!!

I don't eat deer or drink beer but I would like to thank both Jesse and Dave for your support of the rally and would also like to thank ROK for there goodies they sent us. Also I would like to thank Victor and especially Katie for there hard work.

Victor, Katie & family deserve all the credit. I was only a contributor. Thanks to Victor and family for all the time and hard work it took to put a rally like this together. I don't know what will happen next year to top this one!

Somehow I missed the chili. But anyway, thanks for the deer meat Jesse. From what I've heard, I missed a real treat.

Dave, your contribution was also delicious. I may have cut into Bill (usrangers) allocation as well.

Bill Mac had a bowl for each of you as well as himself then on his 3rd bowl someone said it was deer chili and he said he didn't like deer. Good thing he didn't like it or no one would have had any

Yep, Ya'll missed out on some good chili.
I've been a judge at the "Hangin Judge" chili cook off a few times,
and this was definitely a winner.

Somebody got a picture of me eating that mighty fine Chili while balancing a couple of pounds of delicious BBQ on my lap. That was all good grub. A year ago I had to head back before the BBQ, I realize now what a huge loss that was.
