Stupid questions
What kind of stupid questions do you get while out on the Nomad? Here are a few of my favorite:
1. Pull up to gas station, fill up, go into pay...cashier ask..'Can you ride that thing? or Is that your bike?'.........No I don't drive it...I just push it all around town for exercise...duh. 2. Is that a Harley? Is that a Victory? .......Can't you read?!!!!! And when I'm on the Guzzi.....Who makes that?.......Sometimes I give them a quicky answer to this one like...Volkswagen. :-*.....or 'Do they still make those?'.....no.....this is an '04 they just made one for me. ::)

Yeah, and then when you tell them what it is they act disinterested. Especially in my neck of the woods where they think the only "Real Bike" is a Harley. Should have seen the looks on their faces when I rolled in to the 100 year Harley Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee on my Yamaha. The one question I was asked all day: "Are You Crazy?"

At work I hang my leathers up behind the door. Almost every patient asks the same question, all together now:
Do you ride a motorcycle? I want to answer "No, I'm just very paranoid when I drive my car." Here's your sign.
