Not sure what you mean by 'easy to use'. I believe that most are fairly easy as long as you read the directions and know how to set them.

This should be an easy to use and affordable torque wrench. It is a clicker style.

They are all very easy to use, regardless of the type. For me the tough part was reefing down 1" bolts. It used to take two of us to do it, one held the socket on the bolt while the other guy pulled like a buggar.

My oldest son is a diesel mechanic. He recently brought over his latest tool acquisition to show me. It's a 3/4" drive torque wrench. When assembled, it's about 5 feet long (it breaks down for storage) and cost him upwards of $700. I believe the scale went up to 1000 pound-feet.
More than the average shadetree mechanic needs.

Harbor Freight torque wrenches are very affordable. I don't own one but I'm thinking of purchasing the inch pound and foot pound versions they sell. Anyone here own these?

I have 2 of each.... Both 1/2" drive are click type, and both inch pounds are needle pointer type.
For Nomad one of each type is needed. For 05 and up the inch pound reading in the book for head bearings is wrong... They list that at 46 inch pounds which is total fooey. More like 18 to 26 foot pounds is like it. A reading in ft pnds there isn't really what we are after anyway.

BD, My bet is some little PDI monkey gobbered on loctite stud and bearing mount, and then tightened that axel for all he was worth...
PDI monkeys are wanna be techs, but they don't yet know how to sweep the shop.
