Oyster Run

Looks like I've managed to avoid getting voted in as regional whatever, Phew!

That being said, anyone interested in joining in on the Oyster run this Sunday? Meeting up at King Charlies one block south of US 2 on Hwy 9, near Snohomish. Meet up at abut 9:00 AM.

So far, it's looking like a few from the BTK forum and maybe a couple of WA Rogue Owners (me included). Afterall, the V2K is just a really big Nomad wanna be.

I'll be on BigBurtha. She's kinda' red with black saddlebags.

Big John,
It's great to hear from you again...I was wondering where you went. I would love to ride, but my POG went out on me yesterday, so I'm out. I do hope that you have a great ride and hope to run into you sometime. Have fun will ya,
Rich

BigJohn,
It's possible me and my wife might meet you there. I'm kinda waiting to hear from some other friends about their plans, but I'm not holding my breath.

It would be great to meet you so if things don't work out with this other group, I will be there for sure.

I'm just not certain I want to ride into downtown Anacortes... .
That is a pretty busy place with thousands of bikes and all. Impressive to see but not too fun to get stuck in.

King Charlie's @ 9:00am huh? At least the weather looks to be awesome for the event.

Now THAT's a let down. I've got a metal gear you can have. 'Course, it's still in the 2000 Nomad that's for sale. Take the bike, and it's yours. <G>

August and Sept have been pretty busy. In early Aug Nancy said to go get my "new" V2K. Two weeks later I started three weeks vacation. Spent two weeks doing honeydoos around the house. Then rode the Rogue down to Denver for a three day tunnelig class at the Colo School of Mines. Day after I got back I started a new project in Seattle. So...not much of me for the past couple of months.

I see that there was almost an insurection while I was gone. I spoke to Trip about section leadership before I left. With all that has been going on in my life, I decided that this just wasnt' a good time to take on additional responsibilities.

Anyway, anyone who wants to ride, just show up on Sunday.

John

Free free to join us. I'm with you on the time in Anacortes. I've done Snohomish as a contestant a couple of times and that's OK. The traffic at the end of the day is what gets me. The twon is one way in one way out. Makes it tough.

I'm thinking bypass Anacortes and do Chuckanut - Bellingham - Hwy 9 for the return. We can wave at everyone as they ride past.

John

Now, let's not make a habit of this... But, I do tend to speak out and "get" volunteered a lot.
