Yellow Lens Spot Lights
Does anybody know where to get some yellow lense spot lights. I have the clear lense spots, but think the yellow lenses look cool. Maybe a little retro too. Any help would be appreciated. BnG

If your spot lights are the sealed beam type for the kawasaki OEM spot lights, you can purchase them
from JP Cycles. $16.99 each + S & H.

Princess Auto here in Canada has a good selection of those type of lights, Its a store almost identical to Harbour Freight. See if they carry the lights that your after.

Trip has them on his Nomad. I'm sure if you PM him he can tell you where he got his.

I put them on when I got my cobra ligth bar this summer. J&P cycles has them amber fluted in 35W and amber smooth glass in 30W.
Like the looks as well. Extra wire involved on those sealed beams if that's what you're looking for, instead of the single wire going to the bulb. The stock unit has a bulb that's kept in place by a screw. When you change to the sealed beam you have to pop out the bulb housing by using good needle nose pliers and flexing those copper colored springs. Stay in an enclosed area if you decide to changeover because it's inevitable the one will pop when either taking them out or putting them back in to hold the sealed units. You can also just but amber bulbs and keep the clear lens if you'd like. |

BnG,
I got my amber lamps at J&P, but I understand you can get the same bulb cheaper at one of the auto stores like O'Reilly's. Just get a 4.5" amber, sealed bulb lamp. Trip PS...looks like you're ready for the rally in Custer!!!
