Site getting blocked

For some reason multiple machines in different locations are blocking this site when using Kaspersky. The message popping up is stating "malicious software" as the reason. Anyone have any way around this without disabling the virus protection? Or any thoughts as to why this site would even be kicking out that message?

I don't think it's the web site throwing out that message. It's probably Kaspersky throwing the message. A google search showed that Kaspersky blocks a lot of sites that people try to get to.

I was getting it as well. I've become so annoyed with Kaspersky I've quit using their products. After the -second- time of Kaspersky on a clients server causing a multi-day sporadic outage across the network, that was it. And there was no virus, no attack, just software that didn't want to play nice. Gee, maybe I should sell an anti-virus tool - a set of cable cutters, to just cut the network cable. Ta-da, instant protection! It would make as much sense as using Kasperky's latest products.

I get this. I disable the web anti virus whenever I want to enter the site, and then enable it when I leave. It is a major pain, but I haven't found another way around yet.

That's one of the reasons I don't use Kapersky. There are plenty of other (good-great) AV progs out there. I use the free version of Avast and run a system check once a day. Once a week, I run Malwarebytes and Spybot. I've been good like this for years.

That's what I have been doing too, my IT manager doesn't like me doing it, but I pay his wages so what can he really say..

Same here. My work around was to go through my Companies VPN and bypass the whatever was blocking it.
