No avatar or profile pic showing

Going to the User CP, I found the features for adding both a profile picture and a forum avatar easily enough. I made certain that the images I uploaded were within the maximum size limits for each, and I uploaded the images.

This is what I am seeing as a result:

Is there a minimum number of posts required, or is this a glitch within the forum coding?

I don't see either one. On my phone, chromebook or windows 7 computer.
Perhaps not in the proper format?

With Chrome I don't see either one but with MS Edge I see the avatar.

I'm using a laptop with Windows 10
