Scott and I have been bantering back and forth about riding Labor Day weekend. He's hot to trot for a ride after working millions of hours and come to think of it... I am too.

How about we all meet up in a town in Arkansas (seems to be mid real estate for the SC) and ride around for a day or two.

Oldbikers? Cajunrider? Anyone?

Where did you have in Mind? Of course you could ride a little bit more and we could meet in Natchez I know you have been wanting to go to the battlefield in Vicksburg.

Netchez is a 6 hour ride for me. That's no problem! Y'all decide where and let me know. I'm checking the oil and tires right now. I put on 230 miles before lunch. Worked all weekend including one stretch of 27 hours straight. They gave me today (Monday) off and I celebrated by doing a 230 mile ride this morning.

OK... I'll bite on this..... here's a suggestion. How about we all meet up at Caddo Valley, AR and ride hwy 7 north as far as we can and back? Caddo Valley is near De Gray State Park, South of Hot Springs?

Budman, you got any ideas on motels there? I show there's a Super 8 and Best Western on Hwy 7.

Keep going, I'm listening! This is beginning to sound good.

Has anyone been to Mountain View, AR. some pretty good riding there and lots of things to do on the right weekend. This would probably be better for a central spot and rides from there.

Sounds great to me Jesse.... I've been to Mountain view several times... love the area.

So, shall we say Mountain View AR ? Everyone travels up on Saturday.... we ride Sunday... and travel back home on Monday (Labor Day)?

Are you guys familiar with the Hub, right outside Harrison, Ar? I go to a rally twice a year there, great riding. Good hotel and good food. 630 miles from there to my door :-) Good days ride for me.

Here is an article about the Hub also: Tie Dye Travels with Kat Robinson: Scenic Seven Survives V: The Hub Rises.
