Sad Day for Me ** Update pg 3 **

Well with the economy we have to make hard decisions. My business a service industry is usually one of the first people cut to save money and so I'm forced to make the decision to sell my baby. :'( I put it on Craigslist this morning around 7 am before going to work. Got home and got a call my 1st call from someone in Chattanooga that said he would be coming to get it around 7 tonight if I still had it. Didn't think it would go so quick, but just got a call from him saying he was about 30 minutes away, so it looks like he's serious. I'll post to let you know if the sale goes thru. I'll still be around and will definately be buying another Nomad when the timing is right. I'll also let him know about this forum if he's not already aware of it. Later for now.

Things happen for a reason. Maybe better days are just around the corner?

Sorry to hear about that Misundersood. Hope things get better eventually. I know a lot of us have been bantering around this site about the economy and such -- placing blame, arguing over opinions and crap -- but the truth is -- these are difficult times and some have to make decisions to put themselves in a better position for survival. Looks like you have had to make one of these tough decisions.

Keep your health and head-up; better times will come again. Then you can buy another bike.

Hang in there.

Greg

Misunderstood, I don't understand. ???

Seriously though, that is a tough desision. One I don't want to make that's for sure. As others have said, I'm sure times will improve, just when is anyones guess.

Hope you get a great price for it.

Dude,
That sucks... :'(. Life tosses us all a curveball now and then. Hope things get better for you soon and who knows....maybe a new Voyager is on the distant horizon! Stick around though...we know you are with us....even if temporarily pulled from the game!

That's a tough one. It's pretty obvious that you and that bike were good for each other. Maybe this is over played but as is often said - "in the face of adversity often lies opportunity" Here's to hoping you find the opportunity, and stick around, still some good stories and times to share.

Dave, I am so sorry to hear of what must have been a very painful decision to have to make. However, I'm glad it appears she sold fast. I hope you'll be back on a Nomad soon. Take care!

Sorry you had make that tough decision Dave. With the way things are in this downturn, who knows who will be next. I feel that it's going to be tough for a few months and then turn around and begin getting better. As someone stated in a prior post, all things happen for a reason. We don't always understand but that's where strong faith comes in handy. I hope that you and your business are blessed in the near future.
