Everything I've read about the Hogtunes speakers is they are hit and miss. Some guys love them, others would rather throw them in the garbage.

Saying that, I'm not familiar with their system, does it include a head unit? There are a couple of guys on these forums putting aftermarket head units in and adding a PAC in order to maintain the handlebar controls.

I installed a sony marine radio in my voyager and the PAC SWI and have the controls for the handlebar, hardest part was making the faceplate for the new radio to cover the hole when I removed the OEM one.

That is way expensive. I bought the same Kicker speakers 75 watt RMS for $39.99 at best buy and the Alpine amp which is 90 watts rms bridged 2 channel or 45 watts rms 4 channel $109.00 shipped. Total cost $150.00. I will install. Super easy. I will run at 45 watt rms until I get Randy's adapters to install 6.5 inch speakers then she goes to 90 watts bridged 2 channel. To kick some ass.

Ken are you sure the 6.5 kickers will handle that power? I have Randy's adapters. I'm trying to decide which speakers to put on the bike. Tough decision. I haven't found a good place with a sound board to compare which speakers sound the best at a somewhat reasonable price.

The punch you have is about 75 watts rms if I recall. The kickers will easily handle it. I listened to them in Best buy and man they sounded nice wwth ample bass for a 6.5 speaker.

I bought Kicker 5.25 for now 75 watt rms but when I get the adapters I will go to the 6.5 kickers which I believe are 100 rms.

It is literally 8 wires. Hardest one is running a power wire from the positive terminal on the battery and even that is not so hard. With the amp I bought you can actually pull power from the head unit, but I always like running electrical using a fused cable from the battery to protect the other electronics on the bike.
