Waving Newby from Rogers, AR

I am a new guy to this forum but certainly not new to riding. I bought my first bike in 1986 and have been riding ever since. My last bike was a 2003 Kawasaki 800 Vulcan which I put over 40,000 miles on in less than 4 years. In March of 2012, I upgraded the ride to a 2008 Nomad that had hardly ever been ridden. When I purchased the bike it only had 542 miles on it...not even broken in yet! Looking forward to getting to know some other riders who share the same passion for riding.

Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the forum. Greetings from Ohio. Think you will find the Nomad almost perfect as she sits, but also a great blank canvas to work from if you choose to personalize it.

Welcome from Ontario! Its nice when you can find a bike with such low miles, thats only three tanks of fuel through it.

Thanks for the Welcome!

When I bought the bike it was pretty much as she came off the showroom floor. It was a blank canvas so I went to work on it. So far I have added the following items:

Longhorn Highway Pegs from Kuryakyn
Phat Risers from Scootworks
Seat with Drivers Backrest from Mustang
Luggage Rack from Cobra
Light Bar from Cobra
LED Lighted Mirrors from Kuryakyn
Front and Rear Fender Trim from National Cycle
Bag Racks from MC Enterprises
Cup Holder from Chubby Cups
Engine Accent Lighting from Custom Dynamics
Grips from Kuryakyn
Throttle Lock from Kuryakyn
Windshield Bag (mounted under passenger backrest)
Pair of Modular Helmets from HJC
Dual Communication System from Sena (for the wife)

I still need to add a Power Point and a couple of odds and ends but overall, I am very pleased with how she turned out. I am sure that I am like many of you and will keep adding stuff down the road, but for now...I am broke!
