Grasshopper backrest

Got my grasshopper backrest today. Man was it easy to put on! It sits lower than my fire and steel backrest. Have any of you noticed if it needs to sit higher on your back? I'll try it out tomorrow. It looks great on the bike. I need a a round tube curved rack to fit the fender now. Does the Mustang fender bib fit ok with the grasshopper?

Grasshopper backrest

Lonewolf,
The 1600 must sit higher than the 1500. Your picture shows a wide gap between the backrest and the front seat. On my 1500 the backrest is right on the seat. It's lower than my factory fire and steel which supports my mid back. The Grasshopper supports my lower back. I'm starting to get use to it but it seems I need risers now or the backrest should be more straight up and down. It really doesn't support me good unless I lean way back then I feel like the handlebars are too far away.
