with the pop-up storms that we are having it usually happen mid afternoon and later after the atmosphere heats up. So If you want to beat the storms ride early, and if you see one coming from the west look for a car wash or at least a service station with a canopy. usually its over in 15 -30 minutes. I'm not signing my name to this :) Just call me Joe Snedeker

Good advice "Joe"
I usually just keep on riding (stubborn) if it is not to bad. Rode through three different showers in an hour the other day. We were dry by the time we got home.

I already have them packed. ;)
Now they are calling for rain here on Wed & Thurs, and maybe Fri. It won't even slow me down, I'll be there for lunch.
